Who is this course for?
This programme is designed for early-stage startup founders and small business owners across all sectors with at least some digital presence. Whether you’re just shaping your idea or starting to build your brand, if you want to harness generative AI to work smarter and faster, this course is for you — no tech background needed.

Do I need any prior AI or technical experience?
No. We start from the basics, and you’ll get hands-on experience in a practical, jargon-free way. All you need is to be comfortable using a computer to join webinars, watch videos, and complete online exercises.

What will I learn?
You’ll learn how to use generative AI tools to develop and grow your business idea, create better prompts to get high-quality results, understand when AI is most effective (and when human judgment is vital), and apply AI practically to build your brand.

How is the course delivered?
The course uses a blended learning approach: the first and last sessions are in person, with weekly on-demand videos and exercises plus a live online workshop each week. You’ll have 3–5 hours of self-paced content to complete weekly, but you can revisit it anytime during the course.

How long does the course run?
It’s an 8-week programme with a mix of self-paced and live elements. We recommend keeping up week-by-week, but you’ll have access to all materials for 12 months.

How much does it cost?
This run of the course is fully funded by the Scottish Government through the Ecosystem Fun, meaning we have a limited number of free places available for eligible individuals and businesses

Will I get support after the course?
You’ll retain access to the course materials, worksheets, and community forum for 12 months. Peer support is encouraged, but there’s no formal mentoring beyond the course.
