Ceri Shaw
Ceri (They/Them) has 25+ years of experience in the tech industry as a hands-on developer, manager and senior technical leader. They currently work as a Fractional CTO and mentor, helping startups and scale-ups with technical strategy and delivery execution. They love solving problems of all descriptions: people, processes, and technology, and thoroughly enjoy assisting technical teams in fixing what’s getting in their way.
Ceri has also gained extensive experience in course creation and delivery during their time at CodeClan, where they led the instructor team. Ceri has spoken extensively at conferences across the UK and delivered start-up workshops for TechScalers, amongst others.
Surya Ramesh
Surya Ramesh is an independent data consultant and trainer who specialises in helping entrepreneurs and small teams unlock the practical power of Data, AI, and automation via her company, Tech Sage Solutions Limited.
With a unique blend of academic depth and industry insight, Surya regularly delivers training sessions, speaks at conferences, and actively contributes to community initiatives that champion ethical and impactful technology use. Her sessions are known for their engaging, down-to-earth, and fun delivery style, making even the most technical topics relatable and memorable.
She is also the creator and host of the YouTube series Data and AI Conversation with Surya, where she shares candid, real-world perspectives to support others in navigating their data and AI journey. As a passionate community builder, she co-organises the Aberdeen Data Platform and Cloud User Group, fostering local engagement and collaboration in the tech ecosystem. Her work reflects a commitment to continuous learning, inclusion, and meaningful technological progress.
